What’s even cooler? This entire website is powered by an EC2 instance on AWS, running on a Flask framework with Nginx serving requests. I’ve built this site to not only highlight my skills but to show the technical architecture behind it too. Senior Solutions Engineer

Verkada

The role involves supporting 14-16 Account Executives by helping design and implement solutions for customers. This includes everything from meeting with clients in the territory to building custom APIs to meet specific needs. Along with solving technical challenges, keeping the job fun is important—whether it's maintaining a positive vibe around the office or including coworkers in side projects to keep things fresh and collaborative.

October 2021 - Present

Network Engineer

Granite School District

Involved troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues and writing Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks whenever possible. The focus was on keeping the network running smoothly while making life a little easier by automating those everyday tasks. Building good relationships with teachers and staff was also important, ensuring they got the tech support they needed in a friendly and helpful way.

September 2020 - July 2021

Network Analyst

Lemon Grove School District

Played a critical role in keeping the network running reliably for all students and staff. Responsibilities included configuring OSPF routes to ensure smooth transitions during primary link failures. The experience was both valuable and enjoyable, providing the opportunity to learn a lot while contributing to a stable and efficient network for the district.

Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my Golden Retriever, Captain, who’s always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s playing a round of disc golf or heading out for a weekend camping trip, I love being outdoors and staying active. I also make fitness a priority, regularly working out to stay healthy and energized. Finding ways to challenge myself, both physically and mentally, is something I’m passionate about. I’m always looking for opportunities to grow and improve, whether it’s through new hobbies, learning experiences, or personal development.

One of the most exciting chapters of my life is on the horizon—I’m getting married in March! Between planning the wedding and enjoying all the experiences that come with it, I’m really looking forward to this next adventure. When I’m not planning, you can still find me unwinding by hanging out with friends, discovering new things to learn, and, of course, spending quality time with Captain.
